Add to this date the fact that this is an issuing in book form of three lectures, and the theme of the lectures centered on a discussion of directed economy versus compensated economy, with the balance of proof in favor of compensated economy, as more adapted to an economy of abundance, where the other method fits the needs of an economy of want. He raises two main points as essentials to this end:- the placing of the initiative in the hands of the executive branch rather than the legislative, and by strengthening the middle classes through raising the proletariat and leveling down the plutocracy.
