KIRKUS REVIEW

The creator of the animals of the Bean farm, in To and Again tells here more of their adventures, as they organize an animal bank, in hopes of convincing the farmer that they are capable of running things while the family goes to Europe. A dictator in the shape of an interloping woodpecker tries to take over the reins, and the animals organize a republic, oust the interloper and elect Mrs. Wiggins, the cow, as president. Nonsense in the best vein and tradition.
