PISTOL AND REVOLVER SHOOTING

There's always been, apparently, a market for books on this subject -- a fact surprising to the layman, particularly since most of these books are expensive. Now here is another -- and again at a popular price, and by a world authority. There's a brief personal background section, followed by a summary of some rules of the sport, but most of the book follows along lines of factual data on various phases of the subject:-- calibre revolver and automatic pistol; center-fire revolver and automatic; American single shot pistol; ammunition; cleaning; accessories; handgun stocks and sights. The last sections deal with matches, rules, ranges, etc. And the chapter on ""learning to shoot"", while intended for beginners, has technical information in the way of formula etc. that will appeal chiefly to experts.
