THE FAIRY-FAITH IN CELTIC COUNTRIES

By the author-translator of The Tibetan Book of the Dead, this volume was first published in 1911. The first and largest sections present the living testimony for fairies collected by Dr. Evans-Wentz, classified under individual countries; the second deals with the recorded traditions of Celtic literature and mythology, the third with different theories of fairies and their religious aspects. Finally, Dr. Evans-Wentz advances a case for the reality of fairy life. The book was originally reviewed in the Times Literary Supplement as ""a very charming and valuable book, and one in which the student of folk-lore and of what may be called folk philosophy, will find a mine of information and suggestion.
