KIRKUS REVIEW

Slick schlock and worth no more than the 25 cents you used to pay at the flicks but at least got your money's worth to see the ""tramp"" and the first of the Hollywood he-men: Gable with a mouthful of secret falsies, and Lombard who didn't need any and never tried to hide the fact -- ""That tantalizing filmy white silk gown revealed the voluptuous contours of her body so clearly that she couldn't possibly be wearing anything underneath."" A dual biography of movieland's madcap couple with the gags here sounding as phony as that naked dummy with an erect twelve. inch penis Clark put in Carole's bed as a welcome home surprise the night her plane crashed into a Nevada mountain -- and just about as kinky.
