LOOKING FOR THE GENERAL

This is a very strange but interesting and at times amusing story. It's written in the first person by physicist Bill Brown (real name, Borys Wojechowski), who was working for the Air Force until, as he puts it, he was ""touched by the wing of madness"". Brown, his superior, the General, and some other special scientific types of their acquaintance are convinced of the existence of intelligent beings beyond earth who have made certain contacts here during our history. Evidence has accumulated to verify this theory-notion. The General sets out for the supposed logical rendezvous and Brown follows him cross country from Pittsburgh to Twelve-palms, Arizona, meeting various human examples of unexplained phenomena as he goes. The General and his cohorts plan to make their escape from these terrestial confines and by blowing up some kind of atomic powerhouse they may very well have succeeded. Brown now back in Pittsburgh is attempting to overcome gravity by harnessing his personal vibrations. There is just enough lore here to make one stop and think. On the other hand, there is a strong resemblance to those all-night radio shows which interview people who have been to Mars.
