Hot Air Corner was the area around the pot-bellied stove in the general store Mr. O'Hara kept in Hickory Limb where the author grew up. From its warmth emanated the fabulous yarns that Mr. Weaver so engagingly retells in Mr. O'Hara's own words. There's the time when he was Third Vice President in Charge of All Errand boys at Happy Altitude Aircraft Factory in the days when its owner was foresighted enough to have it ready for the airplane's invention, and the time when he found a compatible Irish octopus in the south seas who had come all the way from his own home town of Donaghadee. At the end, you'll feel as glad as the author who, while recovering from a war wound in Donaghadee after he grew up, found Mr. O'Hara again, and the inspiration to write down the stories.
