Another very female yarn -- but good entertainment, in a story of Honolulu, and pre-war killings. Dr. Lib Prentiss finds her vacation spattered with murders among her best friend's circle. A young Chinese newspaperwoman puts the police and the F.B.I. on the track of two killings; Lib causes trouble with her dog and her loyalty to her friends; but the solution is satisfactory for her feelings.
