THE DISSENTING OPINIONS OF WESTBROOK PEGLER

Not the ""opinions"" of a clear thinking judge, but a selection from the daily writings of a columnist up in the hurly burly of police courts, professional baseball and prise fighting. He admits his meanness, but this does not stop him from stamping on his victim, once he has him down, whether it is Jimmy Roosevelt, the New Deal, Hitler, Mussolini, the C I O, Government Red Tape, etc. An occasional bout of sweetness and light attaches itself to Walt Disney -- or telegraph operators. A column of vitriol a day is not bad; a book of extracts leaves a bad taste.
