KIRKUS REVIEW

Recently educators have noticed that there are more part-time than full-time students in colleges and universities; adult education is no longer viewed with disdain among academics. Cross' guide comes in two parts: a descriptive and evaluative section on the myriad ""suitcase seminars"" and longer extension programs available, followed by a directory of specific centers and types of programs and courses--everything from steelworking to religion to managerial skills for women. Informative and encouraging material.
