Twenty biographies of famous men in exile, written by today's expatriates, including Feuchtwanger, Sigrid Undset, del Vayo, Maurois, Sforza, Ludwig, Heinrich, Mann, Masaryk, and others, Men have been chosen as subjects among those who fought for political or national freedom, -- Kosiuszko, Bolivar, Heine, Kossuth, Mazzini, Garibaldi, Marx, Carl Schurz, Masaryk Senior, and Sun-Yat-Sen.
