KIRKUS REVIEW

Light and serious verse by a facile rhymester, to fit any mood. From modern youngsters, to an obituary for a dog, to advertising and to lawyers, to wives and flirtations, to the love life of whales and the sex life of rabbits; from doctors and hospitals to Christmas packages, to golf and other pleasures; from vital statistics to variations on hall and farewell. Themes and sentiments as varied as the metres, this is pleasant verse in Fishback, Parker, McGinley genre. Its fault is a tendency to repetition, which might not strike the average reader in sampling it here and there.
