YANEE YARNS: Stories from the Northeastern States

It is difficult to say which of these charming stories will be the best loved among their readers. But it is an unusually fine collection of regional stories and should have a wide appeal. Miss Harper knows her field thoroughly, and her series of holiday books have shown discrimination and taste and appreciation of children's interests. Some of these stories will appeal to younger readers, so this is a good family book.
