The text briefs the reader on the organization of SAC, on the new Commander in Chief (CINCSAC) General John D. Ryan, on the nature and numbers of bombers and tanker fleet, 50% of which are on constant ground alert With a requirement to be airborne in fifteen minutes or less. Boeing B-47, B-58 Hustler, WU-2 are all here, pilots and ground crews present and accounted for. Hq- originated command performance.
