TRAINING THE DOG

This is a book on training that is so complete as to be almost encyclopedic. Capt. Judy, Editor of Dog World, (which has the largest circulation of any dog magazine), has compiled a great many facts about dogs. The illustrations are amusing, the print often maddeningly small, but the information is here and then some. Whether or not you want to train a puppy to the leash or a bird dog to the field, this will apply along with hints on phases of training often overlooked, on good manners at home, in the car, with guests, etc. The style is concise, staccato, direct. A book for owners, breeders, fanciers.
