BILLY THE KID

Billy was curious as a small child, and so full of questions that nobody would stop to answer. He tried his parents and one after another of the farm animals -- and he felt very neglected and alone. Then the farm boy found an answer. There was a problem horse who wouldn't eat and kicked too much. Billy was put in with him, and each found the friend he needed. Here is a picture book with illustrations done in a sophisticated yet childlike style -- one of the most successful from this gifted team.
