THE TRIAL OF VINCENT DOON

Novelty number, trial presentation of a murder, which takes ones memory back to Percival Wilde's Inquest. A young artist, Doon, is tried for the murder of the fiance of the girl he loves, circumstantial evidence plus motive seems to tie the noose pretty thoroughly. Smart lawyer's defense, on-the-side sleuthing, gets the guilty man. Slim story, but meticulous detail and clever handling make it worth while.
