PSYCHIC PHENOMENA

Teen-age psychic"" Joan of Arc, Mark Twain, Emanuel Swedenborg, Uri Geller, Dr. Rhine. . . . Heaps has compiled an impressive Who's Who of sensitives. Still, his most spine chilling examples of precognition and clairvoyance come from the annals of his own family. It's hardly necessary to prove the existence of ESP powers since they've become practically ubiquitous -- 10 per cent of all Americans, 36 per cent of all Indians have the gift, it says here. And in fact there are so many instances stuffed into this one volume that skepticism gives way to exhaustion. At least Susy Smith and Hans Holzer serve up their psi powers in more manageable portions.
