KIRKUS REVIEW

For the hobby minded child, here is a book of arts and crafts projects utilizing a diversified selection of materials and ideas. There are pushearts to make from wooden bowls, candy dishes from , flower pictures from feathers, dolls from corn husks. For the musically oriented, there is a "" "" for making calypso drums, and for the sea buff, directions for an undersea garden. Procedures involved in bookbinding and carving are also described. What is most unusual here, are the photographs of each project, presented in a step-by-step scheme, to insure successful results. Highly recommended.
