THE FAMILY

This reads like a text book for a college course on ""The Family"" and its sale is apt to be largely in the scholastic field. In spite of the sub-title, there seems to be nothing particularly revolutionary in the interpretation of the family in modern life. The main headings indicate the scope of the volumes:- Formation of Personality in the Parental Family, Courtship Interaction, Marriage Interaction, Parenthood, Family Disorganisation, The Family and Morality. A sane and honest approach to modern conditions, with some historical and social background.
