The authors first cover definitions of the various chronic obstructive lung diseases. They go on to pinpoint smoking as an ""assassin""; and then detail what medical care can offer (none of the diseases is curable). The good news is what they call ""Body Business"": dietary and exercise measures that will improve general health and counteract specific problems of lung disease.
