HOW TO WATCH A PARADE

A fairly pedestrian text is brought to life by the author's stylishly delicate illustrations. The subject--how to watch a parade--is handled directly. Various types of parades are listed and then concludes with a suggestion that the best of all parades are the ones organized by the young reader, himself. Fluidly drawn pictures, brightened with a touch of delicate blue, gracefully adorn the text which somehow misses the full vitality which the subject of parades suggests.
