POWER FOR ACTION

This is a very simple, clear and convincing outline of Christian ethics. The author first discusses the basis for Christian ethics as found in the teachings of Jesus and outlines the cardinal principles of the ethics set forth by Jesus. The major part of the book, however, is concerned with the application of these ethical principles to the social problems of life, such as war and economic life and to individual problems such as sex and marriage, and compromise with evil. The point of view is liberal Protestant, but this should be a very helpful book to all Christians who really want to live out their religion in this complex world.
