KIRKUS REVIEW

Another bootleg operation for private detective Timothy Dane when he is hired to escort wealthy Lisa Wilson to a small hospital for the delivery of a baby whose paternity is in dispute between three men. In the unnatural childbirth which follows, Dane gets the sedation, loses his small charge whose identity is only established after other lives are lost. Fertile, certainly, but it could be Spillane spawning.
