POSITION OF ULTIMATE TRUST

Seven vacationers in an Everglades airboat catch sight of a secret weapon (without knowing what it is) and are therefore targeted for assassination by Washington conspirators--in an unconvincing and inept Seven Days in May imitation. Assigned to eliminate five of those tourists is the incredible Hubbard, assassin supreme--who, though given only two days and the barest information, trails his first three victims faultlessly, karate-kills the airboat operator, then chases a retired jeweler and his fat wife, and burns them up in their camper. Fellow assassin Franke does a sloppier job with the murder of two lesbian tourists (he disguises the attempted hit as rape, is then arrested for a traffic violation, and makes a pathetic stab at suicide). And meanwhile, in Washington, the villains--Admiral Edmondson Sturdevant and Senator Carleton Rambeau--plan to blow up the President's yacht (while he's out tarpon fishing in the Florida waters) with a guided missile and replace him with the more hawkish VP. Will super-assassin Hubbard kill the last two tourists--May-December honeymooners who have begun to suspect what is going on--before they can warn the Prez about the yacht attack? You won't care--as this crude and uninspired melodrama stumbles to a dispiriting climax.
