KIRKUS REVIEW

The final volume of Yeats is an important item, and there is some vital and characteristic poetry contained therein. There are many that belong with the ballad genre; there are many that reflect on life and love, and that show Yeats as an old man, looking back with some wit and humor, but with a sense of disillusionment. Two plays are included, Purgatory and The Death of Cuchulain.
