PATERSON IV

By

Pub Date: June 11th, 1951

For those who got on board with Paterson I, this is the concluding section, The poem narrows -- or expands -- to the seaward failure of the man and women out of touch with their land, their lives, each other, through the inability to speak of their living. Paterson is ""the city of cheap hotels and private entrances"" then, and the poet alone holds the answer. Better read the preceding sections to get a grip on the threads which are woven and unraveled in this one. Reliable series completion sales.
