KIRKUS REVIEW

Good yarn with new twists. Ridge comes to town to keep tabs on Comitu, town marshal of dubious character, and stumbles on a mysterious cigar box holding directions for buried treasure, the loot from a stagecoach holdup years back. Killings and kidnapings do not stop Ridge, who with the shefiff gets rid of Comitu and his gang, finds the other half of the treasure clue, thereby aiding a lovely damsel in distress. Above average.
