This goes much farther than picnic cookery, for it would provide campers with food fit for the gods, for every meal. Men's food, first and last (a few concessions to the women), and every conceivable thing that can be cooked outdoors, in every way, is included. Some tempting receipes -- too many of them -- and plenty of advice as to building fires, making fireplaces, selection and use of utensils, fuel, etc. And the book is to have flexible water proof binding, printed on durable paper. A practical book, with first aid for those with limitations of supplies, equipment and ideas -- and for those who like to experiment with the finer points of cookery.
