A jet's-eye-view of the terrain of South America introduces us to the three sections from which the children in these 3 stories hail. In each story, the work of the church is the central focus. Mario of Bolivia is sent to a mission school where a sensitive teacher devotes outside time in teaching Mario to drive a truck. Because the central church was too far from her home, Ester of Argentina and her friends organize a suitable place of worship nearby. Arturo's father was very suspicious of the mission farming school in which his son was enrolled. But his mind is quickly changed when Arturo brings home valuable information on the care of livestock. A mild little trio of stories not particularly engrossing.
