KIRKUS REVIEW

**Everything the science-minded youngster of 12 and up wants to know, simply explained and effectively illustrated. There are chapters on atomic structure, engines, electricity, sound, movies, radio, television, airplanes,- with few exceptions models of clarity and organization. We felt that the sections on radio and television might be tough going for the student without some background in physics, but on the whole this is a swell job and deserves top billing for library and school material, and individuals as well. Double list for older boys and girls.
