TELLTIME'S ALPHABET BOOK

Telltime, the endearing rabbit of Telltime Goes A 'Counting, shares in more familiar primary grade experiences. This time it's a woodland birthday fantasy with all the animals bringing alphabet noodles for a delicious pot of soup. Each creature brings two noodles -- Alex Bear brought A and B. Charlie Deer brought C and D. Tell-time's Aunt Flopsy was about to take a picture of the happy party when she noticed two letters were missing. Guessing which letters are missing will be ingratiating sport for young alphabet aficionados. Charlotte Steiner does justice to an inventive plot ideal to supplement beginning reading with brightly colored, perky pictures.
