THE THREE LITTLE PIGS

A not too usual version of the story of The Three Little Pigs, but all the rightening details are here, told with such gay abandon that the shudders will be pleasurable. After all, most children like to be scared when they know they are safe. The artist had a good time providing all the details any child could ask- and the reproduction in color has a winningly old-fashioned quality that fits the text.
