THE DEAD LIE STILL

Sam Talbot, artist-sleuth, slogging it out the hard way as he is approached by Sanderson, of the FBI, to take on an assignment -- finds that Sanderson runs out on him while he gets beaten up at every turn. Tracing Sanderson through his family, Talbot gets the evidence of his murder and a fascist underground organization in upper New York state and turns in a full expose with gunfire. Accent on action and plenty plug-ugly at that.
