THE WHISKERS OF HO HO

A Chinese Easter story follows the way in which old Kwang Fu, who had painted every bit of his pagoda, decided to decorate the eggs laid by his hen, Tsee Tsee. Kwang Fu had worn down all his brushes painting his pagoda. So Tsee Tsee donated a feather to use as a brush.. Soon they had a great pile of eggs glowing with many colors. Then Kwang Fu, Tsee Tsee, and the rabbit, Ho Ho, sailed away to a strange land which was having a celebration. They distributed all the pretty eggs to the people there and returned every Easter. There has not been much for Easter in juvenile books this year, but this isn't a very promising candidate for the holiday.
