THE HATCHET MAN

Detective Chief Inspector Harry Feiffer of Hong Kong's Yellowthread Street Police Station can't help but feel all cut up when several innocent people get ""rubbed out in cinemas by a psycho."" The motiveless crimes are the work of a derringer-wielding moviegoer who apparently prefers popguns to popcorn. The second in a harmless enough series--it goes down as easily as a kumquat.
