YELLOWSTONE SCOUT

A Western variation on a Western theme. A young government scout who loves the Yellowstone and the animals in it pits himself against the brutal, practised outlaw, Lafe Baxter, who illegally kills wild game and is in partnership with a gang of rustlers, smugglers and robbers. Through the picturesque terrain with pain and blood and gore, the chase continues with eventual victory for our hero. Yellowstone Park is saved; Lafe Baxter is jailed; the squatters are scattered, and the young scout, aided by his horse, Seven, had proved that brains and youth win. Though the story is straight adventure, there's fascinating material on the park and on conservation problems.
