KIRKUS REVIEW

Melton is a public relations man for a life insurance company and tiffs is about another p.r. executive likely to become just an actuarial statistic after he decides to try out his petroleum company's product, Weedex, on the now very overgrown city of Pompeii. From the time when his passport is switched to the various episodes which will prove he needs all of his nine lives, and with a lovely girl and an appealing ragazzi, he proceeds from Rome to Sorrento to Pompeii and it's quite scenic if no longer lasting than the Polaroid shot you took on your last trip. The story is anything but probable and it's evidently been written with one eye on that other camera -- the one that's filming The Movie of the Week.
