KIRKUS REVIEW

A textbook on flash photography by the wellknown pictorialist, which necessarily emphasizes flash in his particular field (the decorative as against the utilitarian) although supplementary notes by Don M. Paul on flash in professional photography take up where Mortensen leaves off. For the amateur, not the experienced; richly illustrated with pictures of varying quality, and also with lighting diagrams. Even so, it would be difficult to duplicate some of Mortensen's results. Thorough coverage- for the not too thorough worker.
