THE PERILOUS ROAD

Events unreel at a slow-motion pace is this Civil War story of a Tennessee home divided. Chris Brabson is sure he hates Yankees and is disillusioned when his brother Jethro allies himself with the Yankee cause. Chris reports a Yankee wagon train to the rebels -- then feels guilty and afraid that his brother might have been one of its members. His fears prove groundless, but the incident brings the boy compassion and tolerance for the enemy.
