Reverend Dan Signett, who has earned much ill will by defending them, is in even more trouble when his brother is killed- and he is believed guilty. Escaping to the wilderness, helped by the Indian girl Neeneena, he finally goes back to face trial and it is Neeneena who directs a fugitive Indian woman to give the evidence which will clear him.
