THE TREASURE OF FAN TAN FLAT

Susan Allison, the widow of a lawless judge who'd been strung up, comes to Star City, Utah, to collect the treasure he'd buried before his death. Trailed by a fancy fingering gambler, hiring Steve Tanager as a bodyguard, she finds that there are many to contend her claim- honestly or otherwise, reaches the money too late, but finds a worthier substitute in Steve. Capable and likable.
