THE REDEEMER

Dr. Cannon is the Professor of Church history and historical theology at Emory University, and has already taken his place as outstanding among younger Protestant theologians. In what is virtually an expanded essay on Christology, he has given thoughtful Christians a book to help those who are puzzled as to how they should think of Christ. For scholars, there is the added value that the book is based on sound scholarship. He interprets the incarnation, the miracles, the Cross, the Resurrection, and takes the position that those views of Christ which make Him less than the incarnation of the Word of God and the Divine Redeemer are inadequate.
