Anecdotal reminiscences of Henry Ford, that makes no attempt at formal biography, interpretation or appraisal, that merely presents the man as the author, a news-paperman, knew him over the years, and through the eyes of associates and friends. There are entertaining chapters on his hobbies,- folk dancing, collecting, reconstructions, ant prohibitions, -- on his convictions and their evaluation- on his zeal and genius- and on the fact and fable of the man himself. There are bits of his family life; the many controversial industrial issues which centered around him are given full space, but with no judgment offered. There are scenes of Ford with his colleagues, acquaintances, and employees. A treasurehouse of Ford material, clarifying some conflicting opinions, providing a mobile profile of the motormaker.
