KIRKUS REVIEW

Danny Kramer, one man record breaker for his high school basketball team, receives the of a family move with mixed feelings. Albright, the school he is headed for, is for its combination of dynamic players known as ""the Wonder Five"". Given a chance to join the team as an extra, Danny is unimpressed by their performance and decides to draw from his father's experience as a company trouble shooter. The team is divided by discussion and Danny decides to present himself as the ""element of outside danger"" to encourage unity. The plan works, though Danny's popularity rating reaches an all-time . Eventually, the team becomes aware of Danny's sacrifice as well as of his courage during a severe blizzard. All happily with Danny as the new additions to the Wonder Six. Plenty of court-action and masculine appeal in this.
