KIRKUS REVIEW

Here are twelve plays suitable for home or club production. Some are based on legend--the Arabian Nights, King Arthur, a ballad of King John and the Abbot of Canterbury. Some are on contemporary themes. A consistent effort has been made to limit the production requirements to the minimum so that the fullest dramatic effect can be achieved with the least complicated set, costumes, and staging. A consistent standard of good taste is sustained throughout this varied collection which encourages dramatic expression and allows for congenial group participation. Particularly recommended to school and class libraries.
