KIRKUS REVIEW

Well-sustained suspense though the horror doesn't quite succeed in raising the hair. An electophysicist experiments with communications with the other world, and when he reaches the climax of his experiments in a small town in Maine, the result in the death of a local woman arouses the townspeople to violence and hatred.
