KIRKUS REVIEW

No cook book has ever been so used or helped so many as the old stand-by, the Boston Cook Book, and this junior version should find a ready audience. Not very long, full of tips, the simpler recipes are found here. Don't forget the Knopf book Let's Cook, also published this Fall. There will surely be room for both. This will have the advantage of a well-known name but few new wrinkles.
