LITTLE LONE COYOTE

Fred learns that sometimes ""the best way to love is to let go"", in a warm story of a Nebraska farm boy who finds and raises a coyote pup. Fred never minded the trouble Little Lone caused chasing chickens and running wild, but the family's growing sentiments were increasingly negative. When chaining Little Lone resulted in near death for the animal as he strained to get loose, Fred realizes that real freedom is the only natural atmosphere for his pet. The sound of the wild free coyote call issuing from Little Lone relieves some of Fred's sadness as he relinquishes his pet to the desolate south range.
