THE PUP WHO BECAME A POLICE DOG

The transformation of a German shepherd puppy into a disciplined police dog for the Cape Cod force is the theme of this pleasant little story. Young Steve Howland gives up exclusive rights to Shep when he allows him to enter the training program. But Shep is devoted to Steve. The dog proves his skill first by tracking down a stolen car and later by finding one of the neighborhood children who had disappeared.
